Mindful Yoga

What you'll do
Weekly class. Rooted in yoga philosophy, this class will invite you to engage with the traditional teachings of the yoga sutras and the Gita in a practical, tangible way. Very much geared towards you discovering your own unique way of moving on any given day, considering your present moment awareness and feedback, you will be invited to make choices appropriate for your body as it is today. You will learn to experiment with different variations of asana to find your own unique fit. This class gives you the agency to develop your own practice, teach you to discern your own body’s wisdom from conditioned response and move in a way that is intuitive to you as an individual. No two bodies are the same so the way we move and practice will look different for each of us. This class will include some/all of the following: mindful movement, asana, pranayama, meditation and relaxation.

Things to note
You will need a yoga mat, space to move and comfortable clothes. Please contact me before the class (at least 1 hour) if you have never practiced yoga before or if you have any injuries you would like me to know about.
